I had dreamed about bringing in "the professionals" for many years, but I thought it would be too expensive for something we could (theoretically) do ourselves. Prior to working with Sort It Out, I wondered what difference a few hours with someone new to our setup would make given that we'd been working on getting our home in order for years. Enter Jen. A powerhouse of non-judgement, order, executive functioning, and Just-Do-It-ism. With her help, we accomplished more in a few hours than we have been able to do alone in years. We were able to reconfigure bedroom spaces and closets in our home that were previously occupied by all and now these areas are orderly, beautiful, and not overwhelming to clean! Jen is not exhausted by "the stuff" and she can see the organizational matrix. She helped sort bins of items that usually make me want to go take a nap, kept us on track, and ended with everything neatly put away. She even got our children involved, who are very attached to their things. Bonus: when she returned to help tackle another area, she knew her way around our place and we could move that much faster. Working with Sort It Out was a huge (surprisingly affordable) gift to ourselves and we look forward to tackling more projects with this amazing team.

I really enjoyed working with Jen on my kitchen project. She is so knowledgeable and friendly, I felt like I was confiding in a friend about hating my kitchen. She was able to come up with a great plan to make my kitchen more efficient and more pleasing to the eye. I love my kitchen now! I would recommend this service to anyone that is stuck with their home systems, it was well worth it and I will surely be using their help again!

I highly recommend Sort It Out San Diego team!  The communication leading up to booking the appointment was easy and seamless. The Jens were punctual and were masks throughout the process.  They helped me and my husband organize our master closet which has been always on our to-do list -- We are so glad that we hired them because we could not have done it in such an efficient way as the Jens did. They also gave us helpful organizational tips. We would hire them again for future projects!

Sort it out San Diego provided the most delightful peace of mind! Jen came in and help declutter and compartmentalize years of clothing accumulated in my home. She provided a quick an easy system that I can maintain with my work life balance. Jen asked the important questions and made sure everything in my bedroom and closet had a home! She was motivated and really quick on time, even though she finished early she provided other tips and organizing area of my home. She even offered tricks and tips with my 5-month-old toy poodle Mylo! Jen is the real deal! She's the organizing fairy godmother I always needed! Thank you Sort It Out! I relocated from Los Angeles to San Diego and had to downsize from a house to a two room apartment.  When the storage space I was renting became unavailable I had to move everything into my tiny place.  I tried to work on going through the floor to ceiling storage boxes but it overwhelmed me. Being forced to work at home made me feel claustrophobic and unable to function.

A friend recommended Sort it Out. Both of the owners are named Jen.  My first impression of the Jens was how professional they are. They showed up and got to work going through 26 years of files and stuff I had swallowing my workspace.  Even though I have "letting go" anxiety, they made me feel safe and were able to purge the obsolete items and organize my home office into a beautiful and functional area.

I was so pleased I hired them to tackle the kitchen.  Not only did they magically transform my overfilled cabinets, they helped me pick out a new cabinet and kitchen island. The best part is they showed up with tools and assembled all the furniture and put everything away!  We are working on my bedroom and closets now. The bulging drawers and overstuffed hanging rods and now neat and I can find my clothes!

Hiring Sort it Out is life-changing. Your home is your oasis and having an orderly place is good for your mental and physical health.  Two thumbs, way up!

My house has never been dirty, but it has always been a little disorganized. Ok, my kitchen looks like a tornado hit it. Jen helped me get it all in order.  I was a bit nervous and intimidated when she came to see my kitchen, but she made me very comfortable. She helped me get my kitchen in a good working order.  Everything has a place. My cooking goes a lot faster because I am not seeking high and low for ingredients and utensils. I am super happy that she helped me, but not as happy as my husband is.

A few weeks after we entered "Shelter in Place," I knew that I would have to at last face my closet's clutter. Jen from Sort It Out San Diego not only helped me clean and organize my very messy, very cluttered closet, she helped me to create a master bedroom that promoted tranquility despite my having to now work from home. After sorting all of the clutter (donate, keep, trash), we discussed solutions, shopped together online, and came up with a design that was affordable and provided the exact look and feel I had hoped to attain! She also taught me so many tips about cleaning clutter, the mental work it takes to organize piles and boxes, and how to create an intentional space for everything in my home. I now have the confidence to tackle other cluttered spaces in my house, and I can finally find the things that I am looking for because they are all together in one spot! I am so thankful for Jen's wise advice, her kindness and non-judgmental approach, and for helping me to gain back my sanity during a stressful few months. Thanks, Jen!
